I have se en In thé past old elevator without pit switch.there was no lit emergency switch,nether foss for humain escape. There was been a lot of accident from this date to now,because sometimes thé operator technicien is underground at lit and perhaps thé elevator move down and if no switch at bottom position at pit thé humain van ne fauchés by car elevator and death.if there is a little foss under thé bottom floor landing door,thé technicien van escape even thé car elevator touche thé amlrtissor. Even there is no switch at prit switch thé technicien can ne sage. With thé emergency switch,thé technicien can stop thé elevator for moving to mâle maintenance of elevator In sage conditions.this lit stop switch is mâle In série with thé safety loop of thé elevator and with this condition,thé cabine elevator can't Stuart avroudtly.with some thé techniczl engineering develop a new sécurité safety concept and normes.
